How To Be As Creative As The Beatles Using Cards
« on: August 29, 2017, 04:20:59 PM »
I've already discussed how David Bowie might have been inspired by a humble trade card in an earlier YouTube video, but what about The Beatles? Here's a short YouTube video that I've done of a technique that John Lennon, and probably the rest of The Beatles, used to come up  with his creative ideas:

You could come up with all sorts of stories like that.  Here's the start of one based on some cards that were lying around on my desk:

Once upon a time there was a boxer named Max.  Max liked to jump around and hit things with his big boxing gloves.  One day a Rumanian beggar came knocking on his door.  However Max was a kind person and asked the beggar how he could help him.  "Have you got any money?", asked the beggar.  But Max only had some Finnish pennińs as he'd just come back from holiday there.  "I won't be able to spend those", said the beggar.  "I'll tell you what", said Max, "I've got some nice cakes that I just got from my friend Charlotte", and so he gave the beggar one. ........

Add your own cards to continue the story.

... The beggar stuffed the delicious triangular cake into his enthusiastic mouth but to his horror his head started to glow brightly in the darkness, like a human lighthouse...

That's cheating.  You have to post an image of the card or people might not believe that you have one  :)
