Convention 2019 - Who is going?!
« on: April 08, 2019, 10:54:19 AM »
Hi guys,

I just wondered who would be coming to the convention this year? It's going to be a nice venue in Nottingham this time around and I'll be going for the Friday and Saturday.

Cheers,
Sam

I will be there both days, even though I'm winding down with cigarette and trade cards, to catch up with loads of people from here and abroad. I'm more into modern American Football and Baseball now and will be bringing a few thousand to trade so come and say hello to the not-so-fat-guy (I've shed 8 stone since the last convention) in the Eagles hat!
Thanks

8 stone!? Hats off Gary! Hugely impressive and I'll look forward to learning about your new area of collecting.

I don't know why but whenever I try to type 'the famous Japanese Pocket Monsters series' name... It stops the text from that point onwards. In summary there's a real effort this year to have bang up to date cards available as well as cigarette and trade!

Yep, seems to be a problem with the accent.  I suppose you could write it without.  Or something like Poke'mon like people did in the days before keyboards could write clever letters.

Thanks for that Stuart! I can now confirm that outside of the poke-mon cards I am taking 2 full boxes of Adrenalyn XL (all sorted by number and rarity), a full box of Match Attax Extra 2019 (again all sorted) and a full box of Panini Adrenalyn XL Premium which I haven't yet opened as I may do some sort of giveaway on the Friday!

Looking forward as ever.
